Installation

1. Unzip news pro to the folder of your choice
2. Run NewsPro.exe
3. Select the directory you want to use for your NewsPro database. A directory called data will be created under the directory you. Select in the dialog that is displayed (Figure 1)
4. After a few seconds the main interface will be displayed (Figure 2)

• Console window - shows status messages while downloading as well as any errors that occur
• Interaction window - Used to browse newsgroups, view the task list, read articles, etc
• Subscribed newsgroups - Manage newsgroups, both virtual and otherwise, from this tab. A virtual newsgroup is a sub folder that contains actual newsgroups.
  For example, instead of looking through 8 different MP3 groups, make a new subfolder called MP3s and have all MP3 groups in that subgroup.
  Then you can browse all MP3 articles at once.
• Server list - Manage all servers and server options from this tab
• Newsgroup list - View all available newsgroups from this tab
• Public servers - Interact with public servers from this tab
