This site runs FreeBSD (currently running v8 release). I have been using FreeBSD starting with version 5 and have upgraded as new versions are released via CVS and buildworld.

• All hard drives are monitored by SmartMonTools
• UPS duties are handled by an American Power Conversion Back-UPS XS900 and monitored by apcupsd
• Postfix is set up using virtual domains via PostfixAdmin. I use MySQL for database needs
• I use ddclient to update my IP via DynDNS custom DNS service

0 level dumps every day to alternate locations: The dumps go to a different hard drive locally as well as an external disk. This way I always have a current backup should one of the dumps fail for some reason. More info is available here
